Smith Family Reunion!!

Our first camping trip of the year, was Jake's family reunion.  Jake was in charge this year, and we decided to have it up Pole canyon.  When we got up their the first day it was right around 100 degrees.  Clancy did pretty good, he thought he was pretty cool inside the tent.

Lex and Angela were in charge of the nature hunt.  They did Adam and Eve-ing wear fashion show.  They gave us a list and some bailing twine and some duct tape.  We had to make an outfit to model out of those items.  There was some awesome outfits. 

And as always their is a roping jackpot.  Everyone, who wants to, puts in two dollars and who ever wins gets the jackpot.

Okay, so I have to explain this picture, Gibb, Jake, Luke, and Grandpa Craig, decided that they were go on a diet together.  They couldn't Shave or cut their hair until they lost 10% of their body weight.  This was 6 days before the reunion.  They did all good, losing about 10 pounds, until they got to the reunion, and those hamburgers got to cooking and the smells got to their noses, oh man, all of them were huddled over the food, asking each other if they wanted to truce.  They eventually did, I think they were starving.  So, this is Gibb, enjoying a piece of cake.

And this is what it did, off and on Friday and all day Saturday.  Made for not a very fun trip, but we had fun.
